Emma Troy studied Fine Art at Middlesex University and then took an MA at the Royal College of Art, London. Since graduating from the RCA in 1998, she has shown widely around the UK and in Europe.
Until 2008 she was known as Emma E Wilson but, after an extended break from exhibiting - during which time she produced two gorgeous, noisy sons and relocated to East Sussex - she changed her name to Emma Troy as there are just too many people called Emma Wilson and it was getting confusing.
Emma now works from her studio in Brighton and is proud to have been one of the first artists chosen to be involved in the BECA Artists’ Studios Project on the Bristol Estate.
